We understand that choosing a dentist to care for you and your family is an important decision. Having someone work on your mouth is an intimate experience and requires building trust. Most patients feel some anxiousness coming to the dentist. Dr. Rykiss and his dream team understand this and we challenge ourselves every day to provide experiences that are safe, comfortable, painless, and maybe even a little fun! Dental procedures aren’t always easy, but we still aim to have you leave with a smile on your face.

Things to know about our office
Freezing (local anesthetic) in most cases will be pain-free. We aim to get as close as possible to this reality. Every patient and mouth is unique. Therefore, technique, strong topical gels, strategy and patience are key factors in achieving this.
We have an All-Star team, carefully chosen by Dr. Rykiss, with high expectations in professionalism, customer service, patient safety, and delivering calm/gentle experiences.
Material choices. What’s going in your mouth matters. We use only the best, most trusted materials on the market! This choice increases our costs, but we have chosen not to pass this on to the customer.
We are completely latex free. We care about your families wellbeing and take every precaution to avoid sensitivity and allergies, that sometimes go undiagnosed for years.
Assignment of benefits. We help to organize and submit your dental insurance on your behalf to help make the experience as easy as possible for you.
Transparent costs. We follow closely the Manitoba suggested fee guide (lowest suggested fees) by the Manitoba Dental Association.
CDCP. We are taking on patients who are covered under the new federal plan. We charge the Manitoba suggested fee guide as with every insurance. CDCP covers a percentage of the treatment costs like all other private insurances. Patients are responsible for covering the difference (patient portion).
Insurance & Billing
To make your visit as easy and stress-free as possible, our practice offers assignment of dental benefits whenever your insurance plan allows.
With assignment of benefits, your insurance provider pays its portion of your treatment directly to our office. This means you only pay the remaining balance at your appointment, instead of paying the full amount upfront and waiting for reimbursement. Learn more about our Insurance by clicking here.
